Summary:

Obsessed against high cost of connectivity in West Africa and working in ways to apply downward pressure on cost. Supporting alternative forms of access – using VSATs and wireless technology. Also interested in Free and Open Source Software, its development and use. Interested in policy and advocacy for favorable ICT environment in West Africa; African content creation and knowledge management; and eGovernance. Localisation is interesting and falls within my purview of interest. Coming in as as supporter of localisation projects and seeking concrete steps that would make ICTs closer to people on the ground.
