East African Centre for Open Source Software (EACOSS) is a regional InterAfrican organisation based in Kampala, Uganda.

Founded in 2004, it is "the first specialised Free and Open Source Software training centre focusing on the East African region." Its "mission is to promote the use and access to Free and Open Source Software in the East African community and contribute to the development through empowering people with skills to use ICT."

"It is initially focusing on Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi."

EACOSS was a co-organiser of Africa Source II.
