None in constitution or legislation though Portuguese and the local creole (Portuguese-based) are used in government (Portuguese for written communication) (Aménagement). Wikipedia, however, indicates that Portuguese and 3 forms of Portuguese creole are official.
b) National, indigenous / Nationale(s), indigène(s) :
No legislated status. Creoles, especially the Sao Tomean variety, are spoken and there is apparently a community of Fang speakers (according to L'aménagement linguistique dans le monde but not Ethnologue).
